What are OLA Experience Days?
Our Lady’s Abingdon Experience Days are designed for Year 5 students considering entry into Year 7 at our Senior School. These exciting days immerse students in our vibrant academic community, filled with engaging activities that allow them to explore their potential, meet inspiring teachers, and make new friends.
The Benefits of OLA Taster Days
Our Senior School Taster Days are thoughtfully crafted for pupils from Year 2 and above who are contemplating joining any year group throughout the academic year. These days provide an invaluable opportunity for prospective pupils to immerse themselves in real classes, experiencing first-hand the dynamic learning environment at OLA.
During Taster Days, pupils attend lessons and engage with their future peers, fostering connections that ease their transition. Each participant is paired with a ‘buddy’—a current pupil who will guide them, answer questions, and help them acclimate to the school culture. This personalized support significantly enhances the onboarding experience, making new students feel welcomed and included from day one.
These Taster Days are designed to build confidence and alleviate any apprehensions about starting at a new school. By participating in activities, exploring the campus, and interacting with teachers and fellow students, prospective pupils can envision their future here. Lower School Taster Day

We warmly invite Year 2 to 5 pupils who are seeking Year 3-6 entry to attend our Lower School Taster Day. Experience our engaging learning environment, have fun trying out some of our lessons and meet our teachers and pupils in a warm and nurturing environment.

OLA 6th Taster Day
OLA 6th Taster Day – 3 October 2024
Open to Year 11 students. Students will be immersed in school life for a whole day, and will gain a true experience of OLA 6th.
Timings are 8.20am arrival to 4pm departure.
