Year 13 Mock Trial: The Case Against King Lear
This week, our Year 13 students participated in an engaging mock trial, taking on the roles of defense and prosecution to argue whether King Lear's treatment of his daughters, Goneril, Regan was criminal. Both sides presented compelling opening statements, and their arguments and rebuttals throughout the case were well-researched and skillfully delivered.
The courtroom was filled with enough 'objections' to rival a legal drama, creating an atmosphere of intense debate and critical thinking. However, after a gripping case, King Lear emerged victorious.
We are immensely proud of our Year 13 students for their dedication and performance. There is certainly an opportunity for them to become barristers in the future.
Well done, Year 13!
