Following receipt of your registration documents we will evaluate your child’s school report, if relevant any Learning Support requirements and ask any clarifying questions.
When all has been approved, we will contact you to arrange an admissions meeting for you and your child, with our Lower School teachers. Your child will also have the option to join us for a taster day so they can try out OLA meet their future classmates. There are no formal entrance examinations for our Lower School.
International Candidates
International pupils, and British pupils joining us from overseas education, will be invited to a further meeting with our Head of English or Head of Languages. This will enable us to assess your child’s English language proficiency and to plan tailored support where appropriate.
Offers and accepting a place
If the admissions meeting and taster visit has been a success for everyone an offer will be made and the offer pack sent to you. On receipt of the pack you complete and return the pack forms to Admissions and pay the deposit of £500. We then confirm enrolment and provide a start date.
Fees, Sibling Reduction Scheme and Funding Options
We recognise the wish of many families for siblings to be educated together. OLA will therefore always offer places to younger brothers and sisters as long as it is able to provide for their needs. A siblings fee reduction scheme and bursaries are available. You can find out more about fees and bursaries by clicking the buttons below.
Year 3 Parent
“Oxfordshire offers many excellent junior and primary schools, but OLA stood out for its supportive and family atmosphere, its stress-free approach to learning, and the broad smiles of its pupils. My daughter can’t wait to go to school every morning and there can’t be a higher recommendation than that!”
